If you are about to lock 50 kg on the cheapest spool, print one sample roll first. The reprint usually comes from stringing, a break in the path, or rough layer lines. Look at the part, not at a slogan. Stringing is hairs between travels. A break is the filament snapping in the path or off the spool so the job stops. Layer lines are the bands on a wall. Buyers tell us those three show up often enough on a lowest-quote spool to force a reprint. We do not publish a failure rate for someone else’s spool, and we do not turn this into a price. What this factory is responsible for is its own spool: those three are uncommon, and the walls look clean.
The number you can check on the card is diameter tolerance. PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU and the engineering cards are 1.75 mm at ±0.03 mm, with 2.85 mm on request. The PHA card is ±0.05 mm.
