Winning long-tail focus: “ABS filament OEM wholesale painted bezels”. When a small-batch RFQ for a knob, bezel or indoor control frame says “just PLA, cheap, we will paint it”, the paint cracks as soon as the part sits near a warm housing. 8 Aug already covered generic enclosures. 9 Sep covered automotive clips. 15 Sep covered indoor farm drop parts and acetone welds. Today we split sand-and-paint indoor bezels out of those jobs. Catalog ABS: black and white, HDT ~87°C, impact ~39 kJ/m², flex ~62 MPa, 1.75 mm ±0.03 mm, print 230–260°C / bed 90–110°C. PLA softens near ~57°C and the paint fails. ASA stays sun-and-rain brackets. PETG does not sand into a paint face. Dental and implant work is out of scope. Do not promise untested UL, food contact or outdoor UV hours.
Channel logic: in the six-scene map, consumer small-batch bezels, bureaus quoting painted samples and farms reprinting indoor knobs should not default to PLA or ASA. Drop-and-acetone indoor parts stay on the 15 Sep ABS post. Clips stay on the 9 Sep post. Sun brackets stay ASA. Knobs and bezels that must be sanded and painted stay ABS OEM. Quote ABS, PLA, ASA and PETG as separate SKUs.
Factory notes: print ABS in an enclosure, bed 90–110°C, to cut warp. Ship vacuum + desiccant. Label ABS / painted bezel / indoor so warehouses do not mix PLA or ASA. Samples 1–2 spools. Print the buyer’s knob, sand it, spray their paint, then lock OEM. Specs follow the TDS.
