When an RFQ for a snap-fit box, trial bracket, tool grip or consumer shell says “just PLA, cheap and easy” or prices PLA and PLA+ as one SKU, ask whether the part is a desk display or a housing the buyer will drop, open and close. Qianshuo PLA+: HDT ~58°C, impact ~35 kJ/m² (standard PLA ~26), flex ~72 MPa, 1.75 mm ±0.03 mm, print window 190–220°C / bed 50–60°C, about 10 colors including fluorescent yellow and orange. Channel logic: in the six-scene map, service bureaus, consumer small batches and education labs printing trial housings should not default to PLA. Show-floor models that may crack can stay PLA. Chemical boxes stay PETG. Hot-cabin clips stay ABS. Repeat flex stays TPU 95A. Dental and implant work is out of scope. Quote PLA and PLA+ as separate SKUs.
Factory notes: print PLA+ in the PLA window; no high-temp enclosure required. Ship vacuum + desiccant. Label PLA+ / functional prototype so warehouses do not mix PLA, PETG or ABS. Samples 1–2 spools. Print the buyer’s real housing and drop it before locking OEM. Do not promise untested UL, drop heights or OEM approvals.
