Winning long-tail focus: “PLA filament OEM wholesale virgin vs recycled”. When an RFQ says “just cheaper” or “match the lowest Amazon kilo”, ask how that kilo was extruded. Ultra-low PLA / PETG usually takes one of two roads: recycled regrind in the melt, or weak virgin chip, cheap masterbatch, and a loose diameter window. Recycled lots carry moisture and mixed degradation — farms see stringing, clogs, and brittle layers. Weak virgin lots drift in color and lose impact, so a jig dies on the first drop. Channel logic: 18 Aug covered drying PETG before farm volume. 19 Aug covered switching jigs from PLA to PLA+ for impact — not for another price cut. In the six-scene map, print farms, bureaus, fixture shops, education labs and small-batch consumer lines should not benchmark brand-OEM virgin against recycled PLA if the part has to be used or shipped. Desktop ornaments, one-off mockups, and jobs that allow color drift can talk a low line — write recycle ratio, diameter tolerance, and COA into the PO. Jigs, housings and consumer small batches stay virgin PLA / PETG. Outdoor parts stay ASA; do not fill that with recycled ABS. Dental and implant work is out of scope.

Label virgin / OEM / no recycle so warehouses do not mix regrind. Samples 1–2 spools. Print the buyer’s real jig or housing before locking price. Do not promise “Amazon price and still virgin.” TDS / COA / MSDS on request.
